Hi,

I want to import the octoz project into cvs.
I've registered my keys but I'm not sure should I add the complet
contents of the id_rsa.pub file or should I leave the ssh-rsa prefix
before the actual key out ?
Since after waiting one day it still doesn't work ...

I want everything put together, for now.. if it becomes inconvenient I'll split things up ...

Well, we let you decide, but I personally think it would be best to have separate projects, in order to facilitate external contributions, work with other distros.

It will be a GNU/Linux distrobution.
I would rather group things together, you will still be able to download the package manager in a single source file without any related octoz software.
If this still is a problem to you then I see no other solution then splitting things up, I would then ask for a opkg (the name of our package manager) project and a octoz-tools project.

"Octoz GNU/Linux is to create a simple and reliable Linux distribution"

Hum: Linux or GNU/Linux?

"We will only place the octoz tools on gna.org , that is: the package manager (no actual packages) and some configuration and installation tools."

Wouldn't it be more logical to have a specific project for the package manager? Package managers are frequently reused by other distros.

The goal of Octoz GNU/Linux is to create a simple and reliable Linux distribution accessible to the beginners and to the people having little or no knowledge at all in data processing. The system will be designed for the beginners so that the access to this OS is a real pleasure and not another "OS created by engineers for engineers". Octoz GNU/Linux will be mainly directed at multi-media, office automation, customer networks and Internet.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
The linux kernel and gnu software tools ;)

Other Comments:
---------------
We will only place the octoz tools on gna.org , that is: the package manager (no actual packages) and some configuration and installation tools.
