In fact, I'm not even sure such preview mode should not be the way it should always work. Any opinion welcomed.

There should be a preview mode for canned responses.
With a specific submit button, the selected canned response would be added in the textarea, instead of automatically posted.

The same button would be helpful to get the list of multiple canned responses without scrolling to the bottom of the page.
