We should add support to check environment in order to know if every external dependencies for Étoilé are satisfied.

It may be done with 'make check' and/or a simple 'check' script. We won't use Autoconf because it is too heavyweight and complicated, initially it was planned to replace it with pmk <http://pmk.sourceforge.net/>, but because pmk doesn't and won't support environment variables check and scripts execution, it is probably not the right choice (involving yet another dependency moreover).
We could probably implement a simple checking system based on a shell script and rely on pkgconfig when it is available (it must be noted pkgonfig is poorly documented).
