You should now switch back to the trunk by typing (replacing yeupou by your username):

svn switch svn+ssh://yeupou@svn.gna.org/svn/savane/trunk

(For the record, svn merge have some flaws. Directory that where created on top of a removed directory, all that happening on the trunk, impose to delete the these directories has weel on the trunk to be able to do the merge. Also, symlinks created on the branch for some reason did not show up has symlinks but as plain text files, forcing me to remove these and redoing the relevant `ln -s` calls)

I am about to merge the branch. Once the merge done, no further commits should be made on this branch.

The branch has been created. Please, for now on, commit on this branch and not on the trunk, even for bugfixes (unless it is a critical/annoying bug that have to be committed on the trunk so production installation can run on an updated safe trunk). This will save us time, as no merge conflict should occur.

Most of the commits planned for the next coming release are related to the trackers. If you intend to modify things there, please post a bug report (or a task, if it is not a bugfix) related to what you'll do, so we know about it and we'll avoid merge conflicts.

The new branch is named DEV-2005.11-COOKBOOK_and_EXPORT.

To switch to the branch, go in the savane directory and run the following command:

svn switch svn+ssh://yeupou@svn.gna.org/svn/savane/branches/DEV-2005.11-COOKBOOK_and_EXPORT

(I won't go into specifics but, clearly, SVN is nice by comparison to SVN :) )
