Weak. It worked on my machines, but I had some of my friends try the package out and it bombed. Apparently I must have messed up the python2.6 dependency. I'm going to rebuild the package with the virtual python included so that it'll just work even if they don't have python at all. Sorry for the delay with this. I'm definitely hoping we can get something to install easily before burning man. I figure that if you bring the sarcophagus, people are going to want to run Angel.

I have made a .deb package. I gutted the parts of twisted that weren't being used so that it's smaller. I also structured everything so that no environment variables need to be set or anything like that. It should just work out of the box. I'd like you all to take a look at it and see if it will pass(it barely is. it's dirty, but it works) but the package size is 2960KB which means it's too big for here. How would you prefer me to get it to you?

We can obviously provide source tarballs easily, but that's not going to attract any "desktop" users on the linux platform.

We need to create a readily installable debian package, possibly even provide a binary version so nobody has to fight dependency problems.
