Description:
------------
The project name is "Sigma Expense".
This software allows to manage business expenses within a company.
Sigma Expense is a web software, developped with JSP/Java technologies.
It works on the Tomcat application server(4.1.3.0 and 5.0.28)
environnement with BlackDown-1.4.2 (also with SUN SDK 1.4.x and probably others ...)
It also compiles with gcj.
It's datas can be stored on different SGBD (Mysql 4 has been tested)
You can test it live on :
https://www.alphacent.com/sigmademo/login.jsp
Login : DEMO
Password : DEMO
You have administrative rights.
The sources are available at : http://www.alphacent.com/download/sigma.tar.gz
Other Software Required:
------------------------
Sigma uses theses librairies :
- GNU JavaMail to send mails (GPL License) (http://www.gnu.org/software/classpathx/javamail/javamail.html)
- JDOM - Import/Export XML ( JDOM is available under an Apache-style
open source license, with the acknowledgment clause removed ) (http://www.jdom.org/)
- Itext (License MPL and LGPL) (http://www.lowagie.com/iText/)
- A jdbc driver (we use the MySQL jdbc driver which is GPL)
For SQL connections, Sigma uses a connection pooler : Proxool (http://proxool.sourceforge.net/)
Proxool uses a BSD like licence :(, thus we plan to make it optional.
Other Comments:
---------------
At that time, Proxool is still integrated in Sigma Expense.
Is that a problem, should we remove this dependence first.
