Actually, I think easier to create another branch on the trunk and to include this on it, rather than finishing this branch that is no longer in touch with the trunk and merging afterwards. That will reduce the risk of conflicts.

We need this branch to work now and then to be merged on the branch of task #3776

I cannot stress too much that a branch that is not fastly merged may well end be be too hard to be merged.
