I've modified the file on the server. I don't know how we can test it since I think page names are not regularly regenerated.

Well done!

I think you just need to find a table of unicode character numbers and change the mapping done in this script. Then I'll put it on the web server (give me the full file path). But this may not be sufficient: we certainly need to manually trigger a re-computation of page URL's.

PS: we'll have to propose our patch to the upstream authors of Spip.

There is a chance that they just use a table of characters for transliteration. Can you or one of your colleague look at the Spip code (Php) and find the script which performs transliteration? We're using Spip 2.0.12.

Not sure this is the solution… It's about virtual articles. This lets you display an external Html page in spip with a spip URL. A priori pages are not created by spip. Note that I don't know how to create a virtual article yet…

Redirection d’article

Cette option permet de créer un « article virtuel » : il s’agit d’un article dont le titre, la date et les auteurs sont enregistrés dans votre site sous SPIP, mais qui pointe vers une autre adresse.

Cette fonctionnalité vous permet de référencer dans votre système SPIP des articles qui ne sont pas réalisés avec SPIP (par exemple pour intégrer à la navigation de votre site sous SPIP des pages réalisées antérieurement à l’installation de SPIP).

Pour indiquer que votre article est un « article virtuel », il suffit d’indiquer l’URL de l’article-cible dans la case correspondante.

Pour supprimer la redirection, il suffit de « vider » la case de redirection (effacer l’adresse de l’article-cible).
