Goal

The project's goal is to create emulators of some of the ancient machines that ruled the Earth in the beginnings of computer era. Why? The answer is simple - because it's fun to leave the whole modern programming stuff and get the feeling of how did programmers do their job 40-50 years ago on some weird-bit-number(12? 36?)-million-dollar-cost machines with less memory than your calculator has :)

Supported machines

Control Data Corporation CDC-160A is supported.
CPU emulation is quite complete - only buffered input/output and interrupt-related instructions are not recognized. Additionally emulation of 350 Paper Tape Reader, BRPE-11 Paper Tape Reader and typewriter (output - almost full, input - lower case characters only) is available.

Manchester Small Scale Experimental Machine "The Baby".
Full functional simulation.

- Limited possibility to read program from tape during machine start - for details see page 3-41 of "Control Data 160A Computer Programming Manual".
- More recognized opcodes.
- Some bugs fixed.
